1. What is the difference between GET and POST methods in PHP?
The GET method sends data through URL parameters, which can be visible in the URL bar, while the POST method sends data in the HTTP request body, which is not visible in the URL bar.
2. What is the difference between require() and include() in PHP?
Both require() and include() statements are used to include external files in a PHP script. However, require() will produce a fatal error and stop the script if the file cannot be included, while include() will only produce a warning and continue the script.
3. What are PHP sessions?
PHP sessions allow you to store user data on the server and retrieve it later. Session data is stored on the server and assigned a unique session ID, which is sent to the user's browser in a cookie or as part of the URL.
4. How do you connect to a database in PHP?
You can connect to a database in PHP using the mysqli_connect() or PDO object. These functions require the server name, username, password, and database name.
5. What is the difference between echo and print statements in PHP?
Both echo and print statements are used to output text in PHP. However, echo is slightly faster and can output multiple expressions separated by commas, while print can only output one expression and returns a value of 1.
